This Privacy Policy describes how Flight Media LLC, doing business as The Ecommerce Alley ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit or use any of our websites, including store.ecommercealley.com, ecommercealley.com, podcast.ecommercealley.com, thealley.ecommercealley.com, hq.maxprofitsmentorship.com, and any related subdomains (collectively, the "Site"), and when you purchase products, enroll in coaching programs, or otherwise engage with our services.
By using the Site, purchasing a product, or enrolling in a program, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

- To prevent fraud, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect our legal rights

4. RECURRING BILLING AND AUTO-RENEWAL
Some of our programs (including The Alley Coaching Program and the Max Profits Mentorship) are recurring monthly subscriptions that automatically renew until cancelled. By enrolling, you authorize us to charge your payment method on file on a recurring basis according to the terms of your specific program agreement. You may cancel at any time after the initial commitment period in accordance with the cancellation procedure set out in your program's Terms and Conditions. Full auto-renewal terms are disclosed in each program's Terms and Conditions and are also reiterated in your welcome email and in your monthly receipt from Stripe.
5. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION
We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration. We may share your information with the following categories of recipients.
Service Providers
We share information with third-party service providers who help us operate our business. These providers are contractually limited to using your information only to perform services for us. They include:
- Shopify (e-commerce platform)
- Stripe and Shopify Payments (payment processing)
- Mighty Networks (community and learning platform)
- Klaviyo (email and SMS marketing)
- Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (website analytics)
- Meta (advertising and pixel tracking)
- Google Ads (advertising)
- Senja (customer reviews and testimonials)
- HighLevel / Lead Connector (CRM and marketing automation)
- Fireflies and Zoom (sales and coaching call recording, with consent)
- Cloudflare (content delivery and security)
Affiliate Partners
We participate in affiliate programs with third-party companies whose products or services we recommend. When you click an affiliate link or use a discount code we provide, those partners may receive information about your visit and purchase. We may receive commissions or referral fees as a result. See Section 11 for more on affiliate relationships.
Advertising Partners
We may share certain device and usage data with advertising platforms (Meta, Google) for cross-context behavioral advertising. California residents may opt out of this sharing using the methods in Section 8 below.
Legal and Safety
We may disclose your information when we believe it is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, respond to lawful requests from public authorities, enforce our Terms of Service, protect our rights, property, or safety, or prevent fraud or abuse.
Business Transfers
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
6. COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, analyze usage, and personalize content and advertising.
Essential cookies are required for the Site to function (for example, to remember items in your cart or keep you logged in).
Analytics cookies help us understand how the Site is used so we can improve it.
Advertising cookies allow us and our advertising partners to deliver relevant ads and measure their effectiveness.
You can manage your cookie preferences through the cookie banner displayed on the Site, through your browser settings, or by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page or the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a valid opt-out request for sale or sharing of personal information.

7. DATA RETENTION
We retain your personal information for as long as is reasonably necessary to provide our services and to comply with legal obligations. Specifically:
- Account information: for the duration of your account, plus 7 years after closure for tax and legal purposes
- Order and transaction records: 7 years
- Coaching program records (including call recordings, signup records, and acknowledgments): 7 years
- Marketing email subscriber records: until you unsubscribe, plus 30 days
- SMS subscriber records: until you reply STOP, plus 30 days
- Customer support tickets: 3 years
- Site analytics data: 26 months
We may retain anonymized or aggregated data indefinitely for analytical purposes.
8. YOUR CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), gives you the following rights regarding your personal information.
Right to Know. You have the right to request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you in the past twelve months, the categories of sources, the business or commercial purpose for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
Right to Delete. You have the right to request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
Right to Correct. You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing. You have the right to opt out of any "sale" of your personal information or "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. To opt out of any sharing for advertising, click "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" in our website footer or email privacy@ecommercealley.com.
Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information. You have the right to request that we limit our use and disclosure of your sensitive personal information to purposes specified in the CPRA.
Right to Non-Discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.
How to Exercise These Rights. Email privacy@ecommercealley.com with the subject line "California Privacy Rights Request." We will verify your identity and respond within forty-five (45) days. If we need additional time, we will notify you and may extend the response period by an additional forty-five (45) days.
Authorized Agents. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We require written authorization and verification of identity for both you and your agent.
9. YOUR EU / UK PRIVACY RIGHTS (GDPR / UK GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation and UK GDPR:
- The right to access your personal data
- The right to correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data
- The right to deletion of your personal data
- The right to restrict processing
- The right to object to processing
- The right to data portability
- The right to withdraw consent at any time
- The right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
The lawful bases on which we process your personal data are: (a) your consent, (b) the performance of a contract to which you are a party, (c) compliance with a legal obligation, and (d) our legitimate interests in operating our business.

We process personal data in the United States. By using the Site, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States. We implement appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses where required) for international data transfers.
10. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The Site is not directed to children under sixteen (16) years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under sixteen. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under sixteen without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it. If you believe we may have collected information from a child under sixteen, please contact privacy@ecommercealley.com.
11. AFFILIATE DISCLOSURE AND THIRD-PARTY PRODUCTS
We may recommend or link to third-party products and services that we believe may benefit our audience (for example, ecommerce platforms, email service providers, advertising tools, and analytics tools). We may receive commissions, referral fees, or other compensation when you click an affiliate link or use a discount code we provide and complete a purchase. We only recommend products and services we believe will benefit our audience, but you should evaluate any third-party product independently before purchasing. Your relationship with any third-party vendor is solely between you and that vendor.
The Site may also contain links to third-party websites we do not control. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those websites. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before providing any personal information.
12. PAYMENT PROCESSING
When you purchase a product or program, your payment information (card number, billing address) is collected and processed by our payment processors, currently Shopify Payments and Stripe. We do not store your full card number on our servers. The processors' use of your information is governed by their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
13. EMAIL MARKETING (CAN-SPAM)
We comply with the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003. We do not use false or misleading subject lines or sender information. Marketing emails identify themselves as such, include our physical address, and provide a clear unsubscribe link. To unsubscribe from marketing emails, click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email or email team@ecommercealley.com. Opting out of marketing emails does not affect transactional emails (order confirmations, billing receipts, account notices, etc.) sent in connection with your purchases.
14. SMS AND TEXT MESSAGING (TCPA)
If you have provided your phone number and consented to receive text messages, we may send you marketing text messages from time to time. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. To stop receiving text messages, reply STOP to any text message you receive from us. For help, reply HELP. Your carrier is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We collect and store records of your SMS consent in accordance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
15. DATA SECURITY
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Sensitive information is transmitted using Transport Layer Security (TLS) encryption. We restrict access to personal information to employees, contractors, and service providers who need it to perform their roles and who are subject to confidentiality obligations.
No method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is one hundred percent secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
16. HOW TO MAKE A REQUEST ABOUT YOUR DATA
To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, email privacy@ecommercealley.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" and include your name, email address, and the specific request. We will verify your identity before responding. We will respond within thirty (30) days (forty-five days for California residents under CCPA/CPRA). If we cannot fulfill the request in full, we will explain why.
17. DO NOT TRACK
Some browsers send "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals. We currently do not respond to DNT signals because there is no industry-standard interpretation. We do honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a valid opt-out request for sale or sharing of personal information.
18. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date at the top. If the changes are material, we will notify you by email or through a prominent notice on the Site before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Site after the effective date of any update constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
